Senior Business Applications Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Applications Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, upgrades, and customizations. The role requires a deep understanding of business processes, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Consulting and Implementation:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects
  • Conduct business process analysis and design workshops to gather requirements and define business needs.
  • Configure and customize Business Central applications to align with client requirements

Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

Solution Design and Development:

  • Develop functional specifications and system design documents
  • Work with development teams to design and implement custom extensions and integrations

Training and Support:

  • Provide training to end-users and technical teams on Business Central functionalities and best practices
  • Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure client satisfaction

Quality Assurance:

  • Perform system testing and validation to ensure the quality and performance of solutions
  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients on optimizing their use of Business Central

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV, or Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, or other Business Applications.
  • Proven track record of successful Business Central implementations and upgrades
  • Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification
  • Knowledge of LS Retail would be considered as an asset
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or distribution
