We are delighted for having received this positive feedback on Saturday from Salvo Grima Group following the successful launch of the duty-free outlet at Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport, Algeria, under their new Horizon brand – https://lnkd.in/dXjW659x
The point-of-sale systems at the outlet operate on LS Central from LS Retail, an Aptos Company, featuring duty-free functionality and offline setup to reduce the dependency on the Internet. Merchandise is efficiently scanned into the outlet’s inventory using Tasklet from Tasklet Factory on barcode scanning mobile devices, with sales processed through LS Central. The head office in Malta has full visibility of daily sales via LS Central’s real-time reporting capabilities, while daily transactions are posted into the finance module of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central at day’s end.
